Animal Welfare Professionals

Hi, we are preparing to open our special needs animal sanctaury in Wisconsin. We are trying to budget for a lead sanctuary caretaker. This person will have a large home to live in free of charge and utilities will be paid. He/she will be the go-to person for all of the animals and oversee the daily workings of the sanctuary. The first year we expect no more than 10 farm animals (horses, donkeys, goats) , 3 dogs and 8 cats. As we grow, we will add more lead volunteers etc. There are active board members who will be helping with the daily chores but this staffer will be the main person. Does anyone have a starting salary range suggestion? Thanks
