Hi Sophia,
I love that you're thinking about this! I actually am trying to get my own back yard set up as a sniff spot for foster dogs and shelter dogs. I am concerned about liability but I also think the benefits would outweigh that. I already take the foster animal tax credit for all the animals that I foster ( I work at a private, non-profit small animal shelter as the Foster LVT and I also foster) so I feel like I could do this as part of my tax credit. I wonder if you contacted people that have enrolled their property as a sniff spot, if they'd set aside an hour or two a week for your fosters at no charge. Or maybe the SniffSpot app people have a way to give credit to people that donate their space?
Good luck!
p.s. I do worry that so many fosters would know where I live and then just show up if they're having a rough time but for the most part, they are respectful of my time!

Subject: Sniff Spot for Foster Use?
Hello!
We are looking into using SniffSpot for our fosters to use for more challenging foster dogs. I am looking for more information about how shelters have put this into practice.
- What has the pricing looked like for you?
- How have the logistics worked? Are fosters able to book their own spots, or do they reach out to a foster coordinator to book a Sniffspot?
Any input would be so appreciated.
Thank you so much!
