I do the same, use Google Translate, then have a bilingual staff member or volunteer edit it. There are normally minimal changes. I have relationships with the organizations in our community serving low-income Spanish-speaking clients. I asked two people from the organizations, and both are willing to
review any documents I use Google Translate. For them, it's much less time-consuming for me to use Google translate and then they can do small edits.

I copied our current instructions and pasted in google translate, then asked a friend who is bilingual to check it over and make sure everything translated correctly. She did have to make a few changes.

We too are working on translating documents to Spanish! Can I ask if there is a specific program you are using for translation?
