Hello- I'm curious if any of you don't have control of your social media and were you able to work around it? Control over our soc media will not change-so that's not an option.

    Thank you!

Hi! Not sure if this fits your scenario but I am a shelter volunteer. I don't run social for the shelter, and me and a small team of volunteers wanted to promote the dogs we spend time with. As part of our volunteer assignments we were already taking photos and videos and writing bios for the shelter website. We started a page on Instagram to post them and now have over 20K followers (3 years in, slow and steady!).

Only a few of us at my old shelter (county facility) had access to our social media. Our 501(c)3 "friends of" group had their own separate page where they would post our animals with more detailed profiles they had written and promote our events as well as their own. We also had a few volunteers start pages just to feature their foster pets or animals they would interact with at the facility.
