Would anyone be willing to share your social media posting plans (mostly how often each day/week you are posting about foster, volunteering, available animals, etc)?

I send out a social media post at least once a week, if not more.  I like to do them close to the weekends because I feel like more people are willing to foster over the weekend because they have more time to spend with the dog.  If I have specific asks, I post more.  I feel like it keeps people engaged and it keeps our pups in the back of their mind always.  That one post might be the one that tells them that it's time to come foster a pup!!

We are a small foster-based rescue in a small community.  We post 2 to 3 times a day.  We post new animals; we update animals in care; we highlight animals with special needs; we post about upcoming fundraisers; we post for the need for fosters, volunteers, food; we thank donors.  We post educational information - this month is pit bull awareness so we are highlighting available pit bulls with adorable stories and pictures.  We are also posting true facts about pit bulls and what they are.  We post about how fostering works, inspirational foster stories and have highlighted a foster family.

We are a small trap/neuter/return based all volunteer organization without a shelter but with a handful of fosters for cats/kittens found in the field in danger or in need of medical intervention. We try to post at least once daily on Facebook. We hope to keep our 'audience' engaged in our work and therefore build a possible donor base.

We try to post no more than twice daily on Facebook. We have a set schedule for posting our events and how much we post about events within a week varies according to how many events we have coming up. Aside from that, we post donation requests and thank yous as needed, a weekly update with who was adopted the previous week, and fill the rest with adoptable animals and sprinkle in some adoption follow-up stories.

We are a Rural County Rescue in the Brazos Valley of Texas. We are less than 2 hours from Houston, Austin, San Antonio and Waco. Our large agricultural area is an easy "dumping" place for primarily dogs.   At intake of, the animals are examined, evaluated and a photo collage is made of them. After evaluation, the Board discusses the best path for the good of the dog and we start posting the collages and the information on the dog. We use Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok and twitter for posting and usually post several times daily. Social media is our primary outlet for information on fostering, adoption, transport and needs of the rescue. We can be found on Facebook at Haven Animal Rescue of Texas.  We have two Board members that do the majority of the preparation of the media and then keep pictures and comments in front of the public. It has proven to be an extremely useful tool. We are currently doing Facebook live postings coordinated with a large Brazos Valley event supporting Not-for-profits. I would encourage you to look at our Page, and if you have questions, we could discuss specifics.

I post multiple times a week and vary it between events, calls to foster or transport, highlighting and thanking foundations and orgs that help us, and available animals. I post a story at least once a day to keep people engaged.

I schedule my posts to fall within typical social media peak hours (mornings 7-9 am), midday (around noon), and evening (6-9 pm)
