I thought some on this discussion board would be interested in knowing more about our annual Valentine's Day event for low-income seniors in our community. On Valentine's weekend, Animal Advocates of Greater Lafayette delivers pet presents to low-income seniors in our community. We partner with senior agencies, an organization providing long-term housing for people experiencing
homelessness, and a low-income housing complex. I have attached pictures and a news article here. We also partner with a teen program at a local library, and the teens make cards for the seniors. We are a very small, all volunteer organization, and served about 40 families this Valentine's Day.
