Looking for ideas and insight into how our organization can provide greater spay/neuter access to our community.  We currently offer a voucher program where low-income residents in our community can take their dog or cat to a veterinarian of their choice and we provide a voucher to pay a portion of the cost.   The challenge we are faced with, that began last year, is that due to lack of veterinarian resources, people can't get their pet spayed or neutered which results in market saturation of vouchers since other rescue organizations offer these too.  Does anyone have solutions for how we can still provide assistance for this important service given the unfortunate lack of veterinarian support?

Hi Myrna, were you able to resolve this? My team is working to establish a voucher program in Los Banos and would love any insights you might be able to share. Was part of the problem that vets opted for taking non-voucher clients before ones who had a voucher?

    Thanks,
    Rachel
