    Volunteer Management Software with an App to track hours...
    Does anyone know if there is such a thing, that is free or low-cost?  If you are currently using such a program, please share your experience!  All input is appreciated!

    We have Volgisitics at the moment and will be transitioning to Better Impact next month. Neither are free. Volgistics has an app but we never really used it and many of the volunteers said it was clunky and hard to navigate. Better Impact has a great app that allows volunteers to see their schedule, sign up for shifts and log hours if you want them to.

    Hi Meagan, 

    One option would be to use a google sheet, which could easily track each volunteer's hours. You could give each volunteer their own google sheet file if you wanted these to be private. Or you could maybe use google forms to send out a survey at the end of each month to ask each volunteer about their hours worked. I know this is maybe a little more work but I was just thinking of options that would be free and use software people are generally familiar with.

    We use Volunteer Matters. I am not sure of the cost and it isn't super user friendly, but allows volunteers to sign up and tracks their hours.

    We recently made the switch from Volgistics to Better Impact but neither are free. Better Impact seems to be much more user friendly than volgistics was. We did have several of our older volunteers protest the change as the two programs are very different. But as they all get used to it, we do like it better.
