Diana,
I was reading your post and wanted to ask a few questions. How are you advertising that you need volunteers? Have you tried to solicit volunteers via local churches, community groups or high schools. Do you leave flyers or any sort of marketing materials in town that are eye catching for people who are at the grocery store, or maybe places that may have a long wait time such as doctors offices, ect. Are you using any social media platforms? Is there any way to partner with your local news station to perhaps get them to do a story on your facility, the work that you do and your need for volunteers to continue the great work that you do.

Our shelter is 10 miles from town and it's not "convenient" to volunteer. We desperately need more volunteers since we only have 2 part-time workers. Do you have any suggestions on volunteer recruitment
