We are trying to pick one to growth some income now that Amazon smile is gone. Does somebody used both tools and can give some feedback? We would love to pick the easiest for the supporter to use !

We are also looking into Wooftrax.  We had a supporter actually contact us about it.  So far from what I have researched it is pretty easy to set up and use for supporters.

We tried Wooftrax a few years ago. Got everyone on board and excited about it. The problems was that it never seemed to pay out.  Maybe a few cents...like very few...despite all the followers who said they were using it. It wasn't worth the time and effort to publicize them and not get anything for ourselves. It was a fail for us.

Our organization had the same issue.  The only ones who were awarded decent amounts had totals that were unattainable for most rescues. The app used tons of cell phone battery too.

Susan, same with us. We worked hard to get volunteers on board and download the app. Everyone was excited and then a check after one quarter and a gazillion steps for $14.00. :(

Hello Karinna! Not really related to either Wooftrax or ResQwalk, but have you heard about Doobert Forward store? This might be another good alternative for you and your organization as it works very similar to AmazonSmile but your organization gets 5% of orders as opposed to AmazonSmile's 0.5%. Your supporters simply shop for everyday pet supplies and at checkout, they can select your organization to receive 5% of their order (which will be sent via PayPal when their order ships, no need to wait for a couple of months).

You might want to check out
https://www.doobert.com/forward/  for more info or email shop@doobert.com so we can help you get started.

We signed up for Doobert approx a month ago and have been sharing it on our Facebook page. So far, no orders have been placed so no donations yet :(

We are signed up for Wooftrax, but we would only receive 1 small donation per year for the people that used the app :( We don't even advertise it on our social media anymore.

We used Wooftrax for years and never received a donation from them even though we had tons of app users. It took forever to contact a representative and the response was basically why are you bothering us so we switched to RescueWalk. I don't have our numbers at the moment to share but everyone seems pleased with it.

Jill - so you've actually seen money come in from ResQWalk unlike Wooftrax? Anyone else use it and see money come in?  We loved the idea of Wooftrax just not the result of seeing no money come in other than a few cents. Thanks!

Thanks for the replies! That is what we heard too, so we don't want to do a lot of work in social media if it's not providing much $$ in return. Maybe we could use to build some sense of community in our donors but we are still looking for a nice replacement to amazon smile, we got $1600 in 2022 so it seems this app is not going to replace it :(

That is great news about ResQWalk. I will definitely have to look into that. Thanks for sharing your experience with both apps.

We are trying out iGive right now. Supporters that shop online can use it to earn money for our shelter and find discounts.

We use iGive.com.  There are thousands of stores nationwide that contribute to your charity of choice.  It works like Amazon Smile.  It doesn't cost you or your shoppers anything.  A sampling of stores is Kohls, JC Penney, Chewy, Travelocity, anything you can think of....stores that handle candy, clothing, flowers, pet items, shoes, vacations, etc.

We also signed up for Walmart.com Round-up.  Your customer designates your charity and when they shop, they can "round up" to the next dollar.

Rite-aid also has a pharmacy  program where they pay a certain amount (50 cents?) per prescription.  It hooks to your Rite-aid wellness card.  It is also good for purchases in their stores (excluding tobacco, alcohol, milk)

If your in a state that has Kroger / Fred Meyer stores, they also work like Amazon Smile.  It's called Fred Meyer Rewards.
