Happy Pride Month, Everyone! I would to share Spruce Pet's article about how to keep your dog safe as you are out enjoying the festivities for this month:

Should You Bring Your Dog to Pride Month Events?

When bringing pets to events, consider:

    • Pet-inclusive modes of travel.
    • Length of the event and if your pet will enjoy spending however long at that event.
    • Restaurant and bar pet policies.
    • How your pets handle large crowds.
    • Temperature and ways to cool down your pets.
    • Times and areas where you can give your pets a break from the festivities.
    • Packing snacks, water, and other supplies to keep your pets safe and comfortable.

Are there any pride events you are looking forward to participating in this month? Do you plan on bringing any pets along?

    Pride Parade
    Love is Love
A couple of years ago, my pup Thor worked hard in the Pride Parade in Knoxville. Since we were representing the UT College of Vet Med LGVMA chapter, we made sure all the dogs had extra water and we even had wagons for those with short legs so they  didn't get exhausted and the pavement didn't burn their little paw pads.

Thank you so much for sharing, T. Your Thor looks so dapper here! Thank you all for going the extra mile to make sure the other puppies felt comfortable. It is so nice to see organizations come out and show their support!
