...I also wanted to share a draft MOU that we use as a template to facilitate agreements between caregivers and property managers. We don't manage cats ourselves, but as the largest and oldest animal welfare org. in our state, we are happy to help get folks to the table to talk about a humane response to Free-Roaming cats. I'd love to say we've seen tons of these agreements through, but where we have, they have led to really well-run programs and natural population decline. The template is endlessly customizable based on the concerns of the property owner and the capacity of the caregiver(s).
