Animal Welfare Professionals

AnimalsFirst Shelter Management Software is looking for a Sale Associate with 5+ years of work experience in the animal welfare industry, preferably experience working with or in a shelter or rescue environment.   The sales representative is responsible for using their knowledge of the industry to connect with clients and communicate the benefits of the software and how it can improve shelter operations, efficiencies and animal life saving. 

The Sales Associate duties includes developing sales presentations, generating sales leads, making calls to sales leads or taking calls from prospective clients and maintaining documentation of their sales including follow-ups, contracts and invoices.

The main responsibility of the sales representative will revolve around the ability to network, build relationships with shelters and rescues and signup clients to use the Animal First Shelter Management software. There is a wide range of duties in this position including:

• Be knowledgeable about the product
• Emphasize the feature of the software to highlight how they solve shelter problems
• Contact new and existing clients to discuss needs
• Answer questions about the product
• Identify prospective customers, lead generation and conversion
• Negotiate prices and terms and prepare sales agreements
• Collaborate with colleagues in many different sectors
• Maintain contact lists and follow up with customer to continue relationships

The position compensation will include a base salary plus commission.  There is no limit on the commissions that can be earned.
