    Hello everyone,

The Journal of One Health Systems (JOHS), operated by the University of Tennessee, Knoxville's Center for Pet Family Well-Being, is building its reviewer network and looking for experienced professionals willing to serve as peer reviewers.

JOHS explores how veterinary care, human healthcare, public health, and social services can work together to support coordinated, pet-inclusive systems of care. The journal follows COPE Core Practices and ICMJE standards and uses a double-blind peer review model. All content is platinum open-access-free to both readers and authors.

We are looking for reviewers with expertise in areas such as:

    • Veterinary medicine
    • Human healthcare
    • Public health
    • Social services
    • Law or policy affecting pet-inclusive families
    • Related interdisciplinary fields

    What we ask of reviewers:

    • Provide thorough, constructive feedback on assigned manuscripts within agreed timeframes
    • Evaluate methodology, significance, and contribution to the field
    • Offer clear recommendations with detailed justification

Strong candidates will have peer review or research experience and a commitment to ethical, evidence-based scholarship. We welcome reviewers from diverse disciplines and professional backgrounds.

If you are interested or would like to learn more, please visit https://voljournals.utk.edu/johs/ or reach out to the editorial office at johs@utk.edu. We are happy to answer any questions.

Thank you for considering this invitation and for the important work this community does every day.
