Pueblo Spay and Neuter Now
Preventing Unwanted Litters to Reduce Pet Homelessness
Pueblo Spay and Neuter Now is a community-driven nonprofit dedicated to increasing access to affordable spay and neuter services in Southern Colorado. Founded by Samantha Albawab, our organization works to reduce pet overpopulation by connecting pet owners and community cat caregivers to low-cost clinics, covering surgery costs for those in need, and hosting relief spay/neuter clinics in partnership with mobile veterinary teams.
Through collaboration with organizations such as Bergen Spay and Neuter Alliance, San Luis Valley Spay and Neuter Alliance, and local humane societies, we are making a lasting impact on animal welfare in our region. We also provide education and outreach to ensure pet parents are aware of available resources, from pet food pantries to rescue networks.
Since launching in November 2023, we have helped sterilize over 667 cats and dogs—and we’re just getting started. By supporting our mission, you’re helping to create a healthier, more sustainable future for pets and their families in Pueblo and beyond.
