Cassidy Moreau, LMSW, is a social worker specializing in human-animal well-being. Since May 2022, she has integrated social work practices into Kansas State University’s Shelter Medicine and Community Outreach programs. In January 2024, she became the first Veterinary Social Worker at the Veterinary Health Center, supporting animal owners, veterinary staff, and students. Her career includes school social work and case management with the HUD-VASH program, assisting unhoused veterans.
