    Many policies are outdated and do not reflect the bonded family society (human+non human family member) that exists in the United States. Are you aware of any policies that are currectly being reviewed or have been recently updated to catch up with our society today?

    I fought hard to include animals in domestic violence shelters as many abuse victims refused to leave their beloved pets behind with the abuser which put them in greater danger.  I think its important that we do everything possible to help people hold on to their pets no matter what life throws at them!
