Today marks the fourth year since President Joe Biden signed the Juneteenth National Independence Day Act into law. Juneteenth/Freedom Day is the first new federal holiday since 1983, when President Ronald Reagan signed the bill for Martin Luther King Day. At times, living through major historical events gets fatiguing, but this is one I am very glad to have experienced in this lifetime!
