This is a great topic to raise awareness about!
Zoonoses impact us, whether directly or indirectly, due to their prevalence in our greater environment--and sometimes in surprising ways! This graphic really brings into focus the number of factors to consider when analyzing the spread of issues like roundworms, and thus, facilitate some level of thinking on preventative measures. Thank you for sharing!

Subject: Cat and dog roundworms can affect more then just your pet.
Often, when the crossover of pet and human health is discussed, it is about zoonosis, such as rabies and Lyme disease. The first time I heard a story about the effects that Toxocariasis can have on children, it made a significant impact on me. Several years ago, an ophthalmologist in Florida stated that he was seeing an increase in Ocular Toxocariasis. Roundworms are so easy to treat and prevent but often times, families are unaware of the issues they can cause to both human and nonhuman family members.
