A focused initiative of daily rallying posts, slacks, emails, texts, and calls ...my cheeks hurt from smiling over the past couple weeks.

Building a program to help create more support for our fosters has been an incredible adventure and the collaborative spirit is probably the best outcome.

After a weekend of events and prepping for new events I have found the best way to promote our Fund-A-Foster Maddie's Challenge is to wear a sticker with a QR code leading to the information page we created. Having that sticker on my shirt at events has been so much fun. When chatting in a group I catch people just opening the link. And then forgetting that it is on and hearing someone say: What is Rocket Dog Rescue Fund-A-Foster while grabbing groceries has built new friendships in the neighborhood ...which leads to new fosters!

It definitely took a month to get into the groove and I feel like we have great momentum going into the summer.

Communication is always key and building out more QA pages for our fosters will help build a greater sense of confidence to foster.

Going forward I will create a sponsorship deck to excite local business to participate in our tote bag to give our fosters what they need to ease the financial burden while offering a loving home for our rescues. Food costs are such a burden for families, and when a family wants to adopt after fostering we will now be able to provide necessities to get them started.
