Closed for intakes...again

Hi all! New to this forum and Maddie's Fund and finding the information and knowledge in this community so diverse!

I am the founder of a non-profit that started as a TNR program 3 years ago that has morphed into a full rescue program with TNR, adoptions, rescue of medical cases, and now we have a brick and mortar location! A lot of growth in a short time! As we grow and go through the expected growing pains, I am finding more and more that we have to close for intakes more frequently than I would like. Part of the issue is the lack of resources in our community and just not being able to keep up, but the other is funding. I am wondering if there is advice or thoughts on how to stay open to intakes while in the growing stages or do I just need to be ok with closure at times? I just dislike the redundancy of having to announce closure repeatedly. Thoughts, ideas? I am open to all!

Thank you so much for this forum and community!
