    Hello,

Does anyone have a recommendation for a sturdy but comfortable (like one with padding), “no pull harness” for a for a bully breed dog?

I have had the best luck with the Freedom No Pull harness. It fits well and has a velvet cover over the strap that goes around the body. Ours have lasted over a year with continuous wear and use.

Thank you. I was looking at those, and I do like how it has the double leash attachment. I assume they aren’t easy to slip out of, are they? if a dog tried to back out?

If you seek a no-escape harness, go with a spook harness.  These are 3 strap harnesses, virtually impossible to slip, and are the only thing we use for walking our dogs.  I have ours made by a wonderful lady, Diane at Fashionroo.  https://www.facebook.com/fashionrooo/  And here's a photo of one on one of our dogs.  Pardon the fact that I had not adjusted the fit yet.   https://www.facebook.com/TheHarmonyProjectforFearfulDogs/photos/a.2229943667281952/2229943523948633/

You're welcome!  We used to use the Freedom harness and still do once in a while for dogs who are not an escape risk because they are so easy to slip on and I do like the padding.  But do be careful because in my experience anyway, no matter how tight you fit them, they still slacken around the top of the legs and chest when the dog relaxes, which means they can be slipped out of.
