Webinar: COVID-19 and Fundraising for Animal Shelters and Rescue Groups

The need to shelter-in-place and avoid large gatherings has left many animal welfare organizations struggling with deciding what to do about upcoming fundraising events. Should you cancel your gala entirely, and, if so, how will you possibly make up the loss in dollars? Maybe it makes more sense to have a virtual event, but how do those work?   Join us Monday, March 23, from 4:30-5:15 p.m. CDT and hear from three Best Friends Network partners who have grappled with these questions and come up with strategies to avoid losing critical funds. Speakers will be:

• Jackie Roach, co-founder of Taysia Blue Rescue

Trish Tolbert, network partner development strategist for Best Friends Animal Society, will also be on hand to give advice on how to stop panicking and start looking for opportunities during this crisis instead.
