Is your organization super passionate about getting pets out of our shelters and into adoptive homes?
Join the Get 'em Home Challenge! The challenge focuses on our long stay dogs and cats - those that have been in the shelter for more than 30 days. If your organization finds a home for at least one long stay dog or cat, you will be entered into a chance to win one of ten $1000 grants! And other awards if you apply for them.
Attend our Get 'em Home Huddle this Thursday at 12pm PT/3 pm ET to learn more about what you need to do in terms of data submission to complete the challenge. Our huddles feature a short presentation (5-10 minutes) followed by time for Q&A.
Here are a few important details about the challenge:
- Registration for the Challenge closes on 9/17/18 at 11:59 PDT
- We'll be hosting weekly Huddles- short bits of information to help you find homes for long stay pets. Huddles after this week's session will focus on tips and tricks to get 'em home.
- We encourage you to ask questions, answer questions, and share your ideas to help get 'em home here in Maddie’s Pet Forum. This is a Challenge, but part of the challenge is challenging you all to join together to get ‘em home! While we really encourage you to find homes for as many long stay pets as possible, the prizes aren’t primarily related to how many pets you place... so helping each other helps dogs and cats everywhere and doesn’t hurt your chances to win.
