Hi everyone,

The University of North Carolina at Charlotte has done a lot of work looking at foster caregivers and what we can do to reduce burnout and increase success of our foster programs. And they've developed an assessment system, the Foster Assessment System or FAST-15, that allows you to assess your foster volunteer engagement and satisfaction by sending a survey to your foster volunteers.

We're looking for a few orgs to beta test the system before we launch it. Can you help? If your organization (you need at least ten foster volunteers to participate) might be willing to help or has questions, please email me at segurson@maddiesfund.org

We are already on the list of org's to have the survey done when ready.  Would participating in the Beta test replace the opportunity to have the Final version administered?

WAGS Animal Rescue in Ocala Florida just barely has enough fosters to participate and we would be glad to. We've had a lot of issues recruiting new fosters and we currently have a bunch of very kind souls that are undoubtedly fighting foster burnout right now for lack of being able to take a real break.

Are you still looking for beta testers for this? Is this only for foster programs that are running out of shelters or rescue organizations without a physical shelter as well?
