Hi folks! We started doing short-term "Sleepover Fostering", for some of our dogs that were having a little trouble getting adopted, back in the Summer 2019. During the holidays we opened that opportunity up to include ALL of our dogs, on the adoption floor. It was a HUGE success! We CLEARED THE FLOOR, for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years! Some of the dogs were adopted by their fosters, and some of the others were adopted because of the write-ups we posted after their sleepover. All of the dogs benefited psychologically from their experiences. ALL THE DOGS THAT WENT ON SLEEPOVERS HAVE BEEN ADOPTED!! Woohoo! We also, do "Doggone Getaways" as well. Those are just little day trips. Also very helpful for the psychological well-being of our shelter dogs.
