    Hi Maddie’s Community!

My name is Jessica Schleder, and I am the CEO of Adoptimize. We are looking for shelters who might be interested in trying out the technology and giving us feedback.

Adoptimize is a brand new animal shelter software that automates better intake photos to increase adoption rates and reduce shelter operating costs. Our software does this by taking a video and selecting the best shots from the video with the Adoptimize algorithm. Then, it automatically edits the images and generates them for posting online - no more manual photography.

Adoptimize installed a beta pilot with Palm Valley Animal Center last week, and you can see the results comparing intake images from earlier in the week to the Adoptimize images below. We’re really excited about the potential for lifesaving at PVAC: the dogs in our alpha pilot with the City of Amarillo, TX saw a 27% increase in direct adoptions, 68% increase in transfer-outs, which cut their euthanasia rate in half.

Do you know of any shelters that might be interested?

    Thanks!

    Jessica Schleder

Wow Jessica! This sounds awesome. Please give a call to Sunny Aris, Director of AnimalVILLAGENM. ANYTHING that streamlines processes and makes life-saving easier is a plus! I hope this is a win- win! Good luck.

    This is awesome!

Does this replace a shelter software system or can it work it work with Chameleon. If the latter, we’re interesting in learning more!

Hi Tara! This system automates better intake photos and doesn't replace shelter any shelter software - so for Chameleon and Pet Point, it's drag and drop the Adoptimize picture into pet profile like you would from an image file. We're directly integrated with ShelterBuddy, so we auto-send the images to those records.

Jessica, I was just in Palm Valley  last week and saw that they are using it there! It was my first introduction and thought this was super cool! I hope you get a lot of shelters that want to sign up!

I'm not affiliated at all, but this sounds like a good option for Lifeline Animal Project in Atlanta (currently managing Fulton & Dekalb counties) & Gwinnett County Animal Services (north metro ATL). All three facilities are high-intake & at or close to no kill; Atlanta Humane Society might be a good place to inquire, too (not open intake); and Animal Ark rescue in Columbus, GA (animalarkrescue.com). <3

This seems helpful but can I ask, for cash-strapped shelters, what's this difference between your software and what can be done using free software on the web like www.remove.bg
