    Posted 06-16-2018 05:11 PM

I am a strong beleiver in taking care of animals and leaving them in the environment. for the past two years I have taken care of a couple of stray cat colonies this year I have a couple of cats with kittens and I was feeding them and taking care of them, but they seem to have developed some skin rash and I beleive they may have fleas.

I really do not want to turn them in to ashelter, but at the same tiem I can not afford to take all of them toa vet and can not leave them like this. Please help me with any resources and or ideas to take care of this without having to turn them in to a shelter.

Hi there! I'm assuming you will be taking these cats and kittens into be altered as part of Trap Neuter Return? I would have the vet staff evaulate the cats at surgery time and determine an appropriate treatment at that time. In all of my TNR groups, we treat for fleas/lice if we see them at that time
