I'm sorry I missed this live last night!
"If the people do better, the dogs do better!" Tim, you really hit it on the head there! I just finished reading an academic piece from Netherlands, saying their animal welfare improved as incomes improved in the communities. But you don't need research, it's really that simple, isn't it!?
It's so inspiring to hear from others using a community organizing model, drawing closer in the beloved community around you, with the lens of animal welfare.

Subject: Join us tonight! Inreach: The past, present, and future of community outreach.
Tonight, at 7pm est. on CARE's Facebook page, CARE will be discussing what INreach looks like, and the reason we don't refer to it as Community Outreach. We will also be highlighting the benefits of representation and celebrating some new Human Animal Well-Being Leaders! Included in the panel will be former Community Directors like Janice Godfrey from Philly and more! Join Kenny Lamberti and James Evans as they facilitate this long awaited and needed discussion.
