This month we are moving to a neighboring county to expand our space by nearly 60+ acres for our equines, dogs, and cats!

Our sanctuary facilities are going to be opening up to many new partners across the board, the way everything has fallen together has been such a blessing that it would be a shame not to share the processes!

Pre-existing on the property is a barn, a large arena, paddocks, a round pen, and 98 acres of untouched colorado valleys aside from a mid-sized home tucked along the tree line. In our research stage of ways to help offset new costs, we started with Facebook groups, inquiring about the interest of animal enthusiasts that are canine or equine focused, (in said location) for rental and use of the enclosed arena alone.

The responses came back more than positive with people willing to travel a good distance should we have equipment. Many referred to Sniff Spot and likewise apps that gave us a general price to base off of.

Two trainers in the industry reached out to entertain the idea of consistent rental in addition to offering services for free to support our cause. They have connections within championship events that have typically paid upwards of $2.000 for a single weekend renting elsewhere in uncovered arenas!

With a goal to begin in April, we are set to offer the arena for the private use of equine and canine members for recreation and wash rack use. Introducing a punch card system, we intend to post a calendar for all of our areas throughout the property (by reservation only, following vet record submissions).

In addition to solo pet parent use, options to schedule training with licensed professionals and basic canine grooming on a monthly basis.

We are hoping our efforts in acquiring partnerships can assist in bridging some of the gaps to support our foster pets on multiple levels while helping bring revenue to our animal sanctuary so that we can continue to expand on impacting procedures.

In addition, partnerships with outreach programs for local foster care /adoption networks, children and families affected by addiction, and a senior citizen community have been established for the enrichment and volunteering in the near future! Our long-term goal is to Foster Love that Rescues people and animals alike! Had it not been for the recent partnerships, conversations, and research, we would have no idea that there were people ready and waiting to help make a difference! We have been working on such a small independent scale since we were established 3 years ago. Since June of 2022, we have established over 15 active partnerships that have already begun to open doors wider than we could have ever imagined, allowing us to expand on such a large scale with confidence in our mission and the family and friends behind us!
