    Good morning:
The Florida State Animal Response Coalition partners with Florida's Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services to deliver our Pet Friendly Disaster and Emergency Sheltering courses (Awareness and Operations Level) to communities throughout the state. Our program teaches potential responders about basic protocols and understanding of setting up, and working in, pet friendly shelter emergency environments and is also beneficial for the every day brick-and-mortar type facilities. Our volunteer program has trained over 4000 students since 2011, supporting disaster response and sheltering for natural disasters, animal cruelty, and hoarding cases. We've often partnered with the ASPCA and Humane Society US for their needs too.

We offer in person trainings and can also make online ZOOM trainings available for students and organizations throughout the country.  If anyone is interested in learning more about our training and how we can deliver this to your community, please reach out to flsarc@spcaflorida.org. You can also go to FL SARC
to find out more about our program.
