Hi Christina,
Your dissertation sounds very interesting! I recommend calling, emailing and sending a letter to veterinary hospitals near you, to ask for support. Your best bet is to find hospitals that have at least a few veterinarians, and reach out to them. Another option would be to look at the CA Vet Med Association job board and contact orgs that say they're willing to hire new graduates.
I graduated from vet school a long time ago (1996), and have only worked at practices that hire vets with an internship or a few years of experience, so unfortunately i'm not much help.

Good morning Community,
I am reaching out for help. I am a doctoral candidate and am writing my dissertation. My research question is:
What strategies do employers of veterinarians use to retain newly graduated veterinarians? I am searching for a hospital that hires veterinarians straight from school and is located in California. I am restricted to one hospital because it is a single case study. I would appreciate anyone's help that can lend it.
