Hi Shelties! Can you please help distribute this survey to animal shelters in your network?
Please participate in a short survey on antibiotic usage in animal shelters! This study is being led by Dr. Elizabeth Berliner of Maddie's Shelter Medicine Program at Cornell University and Dr. Jeanette O'Quin of The Ohio State Veterinary College. We will use this information to improve the care of homeless and community animals served by shelters and foster care providers.
We are requesting that one person per facility complete the survey and ask that you select the person most familiar with or responsible for the prescribing and administration of treatments in your shelter and/or foster program. This survey contains approximately 35 questions and is expected to take no more than 20 minutes to complete. We greatly appreciate your time. Thank you!
At the end of the survey, you will be offered a chance to register for a drawing for 1 of 10 $50 Amazon gift cards. If you opt into this drawing, you will be taken to a separate site to share your contact information. Your personal information will not be attached to your answers to the survey in any way.
At the start of the survey, you will be asked to create a short identifier. All information collected in the survey will be linked to this identifier. No personal information will be collected.
Data from this study may be shared with the research and shelter community at large to advance science and health. We are using identifiers that you create and will remove or code any information that could identify you or your organization before files are shared to ensure that, by current scientific standards and known methods, no one will be able to identify you or your organization from the information we share.
