Hi Heather,
I'll add to Lisa's comment about POS systems. Some places also have the ability to offer a "Donate $1.00 , $2.00 or x amount" instead of rounding up. If you come across a place that has this option and is willing to put you on the POS, take this option. With the rounding up, you will get lots of 13 cent, 7 cent, etc. amounts which take a bit to add up. Those that are willing to click yes to donate would likely at least do $1.00.
When out and about, pay attention to anywhere you go that asks you to round up/donate on your tab or has a POS where you check yourself out - Coffee shops, local pet stores, breweries, boutiques, etc. It never hurts to ask them how they select what organizations they work with and see if they will consider adding your Rescue at some point.
This is an area I am actively exploring more since it's passive fundraising and reaching a new audience. I know when asked, 99% of the time I donate or round up on POS systems myself!

A couple of past fundraisers that have worked well for us include a roundup event at a local pet store where they asked customers to roundup for FANS. We raised $1190 in one month. We shared on social media of course but it was the staff that made it happen. They also allow us to keep a donation box in their store for people to donate feed/supplies for our sanctuary animals and our pet food bank program.
FB online auction: We set up a special page just for the auction and list at minimum a dozen items for auction. All items were donated and ranged in value from $20 to $250. We ran the auction for a week and bids were done in the comments under the items picture. We've raised over $500 on these but it is a lot of work.
Reach out to local bars, clubs like the Elks, American legion, etc. Not sure if you would consider these quicky. One local bar does a Yappy hour event once a month for different charities. They have an outside area and allow people to bring their dogs. During the yappy hour event we set up a tent/table with our info, sell FANS swag items and take donations. The bar gave a % of sales as well. We raised $1400 on our last one. We've also had events at our local American legion. Their auxillary set up everything including a band that donated their time, all we had to do was promote on social media, show up the day of the event with some animals and provide a couple volunteers. They had a ton of raffle items and a pool contest. We raised $3500 on the last event.
Have you ever tried groupraise.com? They offer restaurant fundraisers and hook you up with local restaurants that offer % of sales donations. We've done a few but generally raise $200 or less.

Hi Allison,
Recently our shelter did a custom T-shirt fundraising campaign. The campaign also took in donations in addition to items sold. We exceeded our goal of 150 items and raised $2,590, while we raised $3,000 last year! The T-shirts and hoodies looked great and were of good quality. We ran the campaign for about two weeks. If you would like the name of the company, feel free to contact me.

Good morning all!
I was hoping for some ideas for quick fundraisers that would peak the public's interest, outside of $5 Friday, Facebook/IG fundraisers and bake sales. We just got hit with 3 ERs in a row, one requiring the help of specialists and YOWZA it's tapped us out, frightened so. Also, any tips on getting people involved, as we fight, fight, fight the FB and IG limitations on views and it reaching people, short of paying for it. So would love to hear your creativity since mine has hit a wall. LOL
Thanks!
