Hello All,

I have a question regarding social media archiving.  My shelter is a municipal shelter and one of our policies for the city is any social media we use must have a way to archive our posts/discussions. This is because social media records are public records. For our Facebook posts, our city utilizes archive social. Does anyone know if their organization has a similar procedure and if the next door app has a record keeping platform? I have reached out to our city clerk but figured I would reach out here also.

Thank you in advance for any assistance,

Hi Jessica,

I did some digging on Next Door and found this page that explains how to download content from your agency page into a CSV file. My guess is you would have to upload that data into a spreadsheet or somewhere else for tracking purposes in order to keep track of all your content, links, impressions, etc: https://help.nextdoor.com/s/article/How-to-download-content-from-your-agency-page?language=en_US

I also found this training manual with tips for using Next Door as an agency that may be able to help: https://medium.com/nextdooragencyresources/nextdoor-for-public-agencies-training-manual-513fdaf7d204
