SEC. 53.18.5.  HEARING PROCEDURES AND LICENSE REVOCATIONS.

Hearing Examiners that hear dangerous animal cases and appeals are heard by our Board of Commissioners.  Our process is used for both Dangerous Animals and Barking Dogs.  For a Dangerous Animal the Hearing Examiner may issue a new license with Terms and Conditions, revoke the license so the animal has to be removed from within the City limits and can not own a dog for a period of three years, or declare the animal dangerous.  Attached are our municipal code section related to hearings.
