This course teaches students the basics of disaster and emergency sheltering and is the entry level course for
interested individuals to become a disaster responder with the Florida State Animal Response Coalition.

This class teaches skills and knowledge necessary to volunteer in an emergency animal shelter or pet-friendly shelter. It is FEMA approved & Florida state certified.

• This is a modified version of in person training. A working PC (desktop or laptop), or large tablet with a camera is required.
• Cel phones & smaller handheld devices do not work for this course.
• Homework or additional offline requirements may be necessary to complete this course and receive your certificate.
