Hi @Angellee Vincent,
What an inspiring story! Your progress at Grand Prairie Animal Services is truly impressive. Going from a 3% live release rate for cats to 99%-100% monthly is remarkable. We're always excited to hear about another TNR program, especially one with a dedicated setup for FIV and FeLV positive cats.
Congratulations on your success, and we look forward to hear of more achievements!

Hey there!
I work at Grand Prairie Animal Services in Grand Prairie, TX. I've been at this current facility for 10 years. When I first started our LRR for cats was 3%. FIV or FeLV were instant euthanisias. It's incredible to see the progress and change we've made in a decade where now our LRR for cats is 99%-100% month to month, we have a TNR program and we have an entire set up for FIV and FeLV + cats. They live in condos with other cats with the same illness. We had a generous donator give us 5k$ which became a separate fund to sponsor all cats adoption fees with either of these illnesses and they also get a free blood work up at the vet within 30 days of adoption for a baseline of health on their new friend, a new bed, special food, treats, water bowl, and more sent to their door from chewy from us and our wonderful donation fund. We've seen some friends stay for 3-4 months but they ALL have been adopted since we realized our error and began placing them up for adoption. I think it's pretty amazing to see how much this organization has grown in a decade and look forward to the next 10 years!
Could you please share the details? Who is "We"? What information needs to be submitted and where?
Thank you!
