We're hosting a FREE Don't Forget the Pets "Mini" Conference in San Diego on December 1st and 2nd! We'll bring together representatives from domestic violence shelters, homeless shelters, animal shelters, and all others interested in creating and supporting pet housing programs for people and pets in crisis. 

The conference will focus on creating on-site housing options at human services organizations and the role that animal shelters play. We'll also discuss other options including housing at animal shelters/organizations and fostering. 

Topics covered include: 

Understanding the importance of the "Link" and human-animal bond
The importance of collaboration within your community
Determining which housing plan best fits your shelter/organization
Key policies and procedures to develop with your partner organizations
Tips for fundraising including how how to apply for grants from RedRover and Rescue Rebuild
