Kay Turpin Animal Rescue Fund (KTARF) is a small, all-volunteer animal rescue in Kentucky. We created this printable toolkit from our hands-on experience caring for orphaned kittens and the need for simple, consistent recordkeeping when foster homes and multiple volunteers are involved.

The toolkit includes a quick foster-care guide, red-flag observation guide, weekly monitoring log for up to four kittens, individual feeding and weight log, medication and treatment record, and foster-to-rescue handoff sheet.

Our goal is to give foster caregivers and other small rescue organizations a practical resource they can print and use right away to track changes, communicate clearly, and provide consistent care for vulnerable kittens.
