Hi everyone,
Wondering if anyone has some insight on the shelters that receive these grants. It is the impression of the long-timers at our shelter that the awards typically go to large oprganizations serving lots and lots of animals. We serve around 1,000 animals a year. Lots for us but not in the grand scheme of things. Any thoughts appreciated. And yes, I'ver reached out to the grants@ascpa email but haven't heard back yet. Thanks in advance. - Jody

Hi Lisa! I would reach out to grants@aspca.org about this as I'm not sure how your particular circumstances come into play. They should also be able to provide information about other potential grants!

Lauren,
Thank you for the information. We are a farm and exotic animal sanctuary in Florida. We do take in equine but they are normally medically needy or seniors and not adoptable. We do have adoptable animals such as rabbits, guinea pigs, birds. Would we qualify to apply for this grant or do you know of any ASPCA grants for sanctuarys like ours?
