Long time lurker on the boards. Wondering if such a thing as all in one service exists, plus improvements on what we currently have. We have a shelter, clinic, fosters and currently use ASM. Looking to make technology work for us!
1- Is there an online schedule system that integrates into the database to receive appointments, send reminders, and deposits, then pushes it all to ASM (or another shelter database)? Currently have to enter animals as non shelter animals then schedule everything manually. The receptionist is spending 20+ hours a week scheduling surgeries, reminder calls, emails, etc. Would be awesome setting up the surgery availability for a month and having client's book it themselves.
2- A way to make kitten/puppy vaccines automated. Currently have to schedule out boosters, then if boosters are done later than scheduled we have adjust the dates. Is there something that just auto populates boosters based on when the previous was given?
3- Similar with intake process. Entering all the vaccines, preventatives, dewormer, tolt, etc we spend more time on the computer entering things than actually caring for the animals. Wouldn't it be awesome to just select- kitten intake and all those things pop up for us to check off when complete?
Just curious if anyone else is struggling with these things? Or if there's a work around that we don't know about yet. Thank you in advance for the help!
