Hey everyone, I am just curious to see what different software programs are out there for Animal Shelter Software that has an Animal Control component to it as well.  What do you guys recommend?

    Thank you Courtney

We switched to Shelter Buddy last year. It has way too many things that cannot be removed or greyed out, so no one mistakenly uses it. We have not used it for our field services yet, but our Director would like to, though.

We Use PetPoint, our ACOs have access to it in field if they are in service.

Hi! I have heard wonderful things about ShelterLuv, I know a few shelters local to me who use it and swear by it. Unfortunately, our rural shelter doesn't have any internet reception) so we are still oldfashion paper records or else we would use it as well!

    Good morning!

Our shelter utilizes PetPoint, which does have a field services module. However, as a field services director I can honestly say I do not care for it as it severely lacks in ease of use or some safety components. I would recommend Chameleon (also owned by PetPoint now) over it for ease of dispatch and call maintenance, or animalsfirst. While Animalsfirst is new, it does seem to have a very user friendly module and the field services aspect has some key points that PetPoint is severely missing.
