Baileys Fund - Tax exempt and Next steps

    Hello,

Baileys Fund is a new non-profit organization with programs designed to reduce the relinquishment of companion dogs from households experiencing adverse Social Determinants of Health. Our focus is on providing behavioral support through scholarships for training and behavior consultations, free educational materials and events, and building a network of volunteers and others willing to work on a sliding scale to provide services to those in need, including the disabled, disadvantaged, and elderly dog-guardian communities.

We have just received IRS approval, and I'm looking for ideas on raising seed money for our programs and administrative costs as a nonprofit charitable organization that hasn't filed a 990 yet.

For background, I am a behavior consultant student with COAPE and have mentored privately for several years now.

Can anyone give me leads or ideas on securing an initial round of funding to cover low-level administrative costs, such as software, event fundraising opportunities, and initial services?

We're also in need of certified professionals willing to write guest articles or educational videos for our educational outreach program, if anyone is interested!

    Thanks in advance!
