Animal Welfare Professionals

Hi all!

I just joined the community, I'm so impressed by what an awesome group of people. I'm volunteering at a local cat rescue that is severely underfunded with one amazing dedicated owner and very few resources. I want to help her have a successful fundraising event and wanted to put out a request for your best tips and tricks! I have experience with event planning, but am new to the shelter world, so would be grateful for any recommendations or advice on how to create an awesome event. We have the venue already.
