    Shelters throughout the country have experienced a reduction in spay/neuter surgery capacity, leading to longer lengths of stay. If you're a municipal shelter or a private shelter with or without a municipal contract anywhere in California, the good news is you're eligible for a grant to increase your s/n capacity! The California for All Animals program is continuing to accept Sniptember grant proposals through October 15.  Though not eligible to apply directly, rescues are encouraged to pair up with their local shelter(s) to break through community s/n bottlenecks.
