Animal Welfare Professionals

Hello, 

Our City's Department of Community Response is applying for a grant for co-housing in one of their newly constructed facilities.  Does anyone have policies and procedures to make this successful? Lastly, if you applied for grant funding, would you be willing to share your budget to start up a co-housing program and other pertinent information?  Our shelter will not be running this program but will be providing support to the City department and the non-profit that will be responsible for the day-to-day operations

Since you're in Sacto, you probably already know about Red Rover, but if not, they just opened their co-housing grants for DV shelters to homeless shelters as well: https://redrover.org/relief-dv/dv-safe-housing-grants/ . They are a great resource!
