Hello. I'm co-owner of a cat sanctuary in a town of 60K where there's nobody active outside of animal control and the humane society. I've been approached a few times about offering programs for cat owners because there's nobody to surrender a cat too. I'm not sure what all to include in such programming and whether I should offer it for free or... The ultimate goal is to keep cats in their home instead of owners turning them out to the street which there's already a huge problem with. Has anyone done this? Does anyone have any tips for doing this?
