I recently purchased a home with a separate 1500 sq ft building. There is a local need for temporary living quarters for adult cats. For example, our local shelters for domestic violence victims don't allow victims to check in with a cat. Also, we have temporary homeless individuals who can't take their cat with them while sleeping on someone else's couch. I'd like to turn this building into a holding place for cats (kittens, too). I'm seeking best practices in the design of adult cat living facilities and care for large groups of adult cats. Any assistance in finding this information would be appreciated. Thank you.
