When thinking about all the shelters that are currently in a jam being that they are overpopulated and forced to make difficult decisions what if there was some sort of shared sanctuary where shelters could go in together on  a property where a new sanctuary could be developed and each shelter could have X amount of kennels available and the location could also serve as a designated disaster site it would be equipped with a new medical facility and enough kennels space to have the appropriate separation of the different age groups and needs for the dogs coming in I mean we could do cats too but to start off with just focusing on one species I just think that maybe if everyone were to come together it would have a much higher chance of being successful and then it wouldn't belong to any one organization but all of the shelters
